Staying on!

22/9/2011

Was due to leave here a few days ago but have decided to stay on, the town is very friendly and there are some wicked beaches. So I have decided to stay at least till the end of September, prob move south to Benicasum then Denia followed by a quick look at Benidorm, (quick look) who knows have decided there is no real plan anymore just go where life takes me.
Am starting to get into the way of life this motor home offers, chilled right down lazing on beaches all day, no stress of work etc, just hope I can manage it without getting bored. I have to admit the first few weeks I was lost for what to do and was thinking this was a big mistake, its a little difficult downing this on your own, but I am meeting new people every day. I think one down side is not being able to share my experiences with another person/partner that I do miss, but thats the single life for you!

A nice old Spanish town with small streets and small bars not your usual concrete jungle holiday resort, full of night clubs etc.

Sitges

The only good word I have to say about the site last night was the high standard of loos and showers etc Left there this morning for a 2 hour drive out of the Pyrenees past Montserrat stunning mountain range.
Drove along a few A roads then onto the AP7 where you pay again, gerrrrrrr hope this does not take off in the UK.

Arrived in Sitges about 11.30 set up and then went into town for the usual beer at parrots bar, Magners gone up now 7.50 euros a pint, wont be having many of them this time, sat people watching as every one does and could see a steady influx of the Gerrrrrrrrrrrrrr crowd arriving lol some of you might get that?
Camp site a tad busy but should quiet down in a few days, to many Spanish kids shhhhhhhhhhhhh.
So here is to about three weeks of relaxing and sunbathing. (if that dam dog shuts up!!!!!)

Left the Château about 11am after a scary moment on checking the engine etc, brake fluid low? don't need that going over the Pyrenees, had no luck finding any local so drove on and kept checking, level looked to be at a constant in between full and low so carried on. The drive over the Pyrenees was fab some great views sand beautiful scenery, roads where twist and turns but all in all very good. Long drive though especially having to concentrate going round the hairpin bends whoops! Finlay crossed the boarder into Spain, no check point at all just drove in! Arrived at the Spanish camp site about 5pm, Have to say not to impressed with it packed in like sardines and full of LOUD KIDS!!!! thank god I am only here for one night, be an early one and get out of here first thing i think.
VICTOR IS BACK!!!
